My kids always loved taco night! Now we have a Paleo taco night and just love them. I also enjoy these when my girlfriends come over for lunch.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. F
Brown the beef (or chicken) in a sauté pan over medium heat.
Drain any fat and add 1/4 cup water and taco seasoning to the pan and sauté until sauce thickens a little and meat is well seasoned.
Directions for Crust: Whisk the almond flour, eggs, oil, baking soda, salt, taco seasonings and chili powder together. Using your hands, form the dough into a ball.
Lightly brush a pizza pan or baking sheet with olive oil. (or line with parchment paper)
Place the ball of dough in the center of your prepared pan.
Press and pat the dough down into the shape of the shape of your pan. Press the dough as thin as possible.
Bake the crust in your pre-heated oven for 15 minutes. While your crust is cooking, prepare your toppings.
Add the ground beef and your taco toppings.
Enjoy!
NOTE: I like to add the meat and cheese on the crust then put back in the oven for 5 minutes, then add all of my toppings!
