Paleo Italian Breadcrumbs

Are you making a recipe that requires breadcrumbs and you want to make it Paleo?  As an Italian I use breadcrumbs often in my recipes and it's time to share my Paleo Italian breadcrumbs with you!   

Cindy's Tip!  If you are making cutlets or a technique such as frying and you want to use Paleo breadcrumbs then follow the tip below.  

*Do not use as much almond meal/flour and add more tapioca flour (50/50).  Almond meal will actually burn if that is the main source.  In this recipe I am using my Paleo Italian Breadcrumbs in my Mushroom Aranachini.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 2 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.   That's all.....
