Italian Herb Sauce

I was do my regular "what's in the refrigerator" and found a combination of fresh herbs. I decided to use them all and created this delicious Italian Herb Sauce.

My husband went over to City Fish and came home with fresh tuna. I seasoned with salt and pepper and seared each side for 3 minutes. The grilled tuna topped with this sauce made this meal just perfect!

You can use 2 anchovy filet's but I didn't want to open up a can and luckily I always have anchovy paste handy.  I just picked one up when I was at D&D Market just last week.


  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cups fresh parsley
  • 2 cup fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/3 cup (or more) olive oil


  1. Add all ingredients in your blender and combine well.  If too thick slowly drizzle in more olive oil.
