Easy Italian Dressing

This is my favorite go-to salad dressing! I can make it is seconds and always a hit! I keep it in the refrigerator and take it out 30 minutes before serving after a good shake!



  • 1 small shallot, minced (1 tablespoon)
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil


  1. In a canning jar, bowl or salad dressing container add shallot, sea salt, pepper, garlic powder and dijon mustard. Whisk together.


  2. Add in red wine vinegar and continue whisking.

  3. Continue whisking while adding in extra virgin olive oil.

  4. Note: If you are preparing in a jar or salad dressing container add all ingredients except for the olive oil and shake well. Then add in olive oil then shake again! Dressing will last for 2 weeks in your refrigerator for 2 weeks.
