Easy Grilled Spicy Shrimp

Try my new easy grilled spicy shrimp has been a summer favorite and so easy with all of the entertaining we do at the lake house!  I even made some guacamole with a bunch of fresh avocados I had on the counter!  WOW what a hit...

At the lake we love to entertain but I love EASY! I also want to enjoy the water activities, sitting with my friends and family and just loving life. I want to make something that will dazzle my guests without a lot of fuss. I created this appetizer with leftover shrimp I had in the freezer, 2 avocados in the refrigerator and 1/2 jar of salsa that I just love!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw peeled and deveined shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Sriracha
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Guacamole Ingredients
  • 2 avocados, mashed
  • 1/4 cup red onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons prepared salsa
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime

Directions

  1. Directions for shrimp:

    Set your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Place prepared shrimp in a large bowl then add in remaining ingredients and toss together.

  3. Using large tongs place shrimp on top rack of the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked through.

  4. Prepare your guacamole and enjoy a great appetizer!.

  5. Guacamole Directions:

    Just combine all together and enjoy!
