Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 bag (12 oz) cranberries
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1/2 orange, zested and minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated and minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  2. Using a large sauce pan add orange juice, orange zest and ginger. Bring to a boil over medium/high. Add the cranberries.

  3. Reduce heat to medium and cook uncovered for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the cranberries begin to burst.

  4. Remove from heat and add honey, cinnamon and ginger.

  5. Stir and set aside to cool.

  6. Once the cranberry sauce reaches room temperature, cover and refrigerate.

Note: Cranberry sauce can be prepared several days in advance and refrigerated in a sealed container.
