"Yaki" Beef Stir Fry

5.0/5 rating (1 votes)

I received a shipment of samples from Bone Suckin' and decided to use the Yaki first for a stir fry.  We were over the top happy with this Yaki "Teriyaki" and I am serious. This is the best we have ever had and it's gluten free.

I did make 1 chicken breast for me as I am not a big steak fan!  Enjoy xo

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound flank steak, sliced very thin (against the grain)
  • Teriyakii Sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 bell peppers, any color sliced
  • 1 large onions, sliced
  • 1 (package) snap peas
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Gluten free soy sauce
  • Sesame oil
  • Jasmine rice

Directions

  1. Place the sliced steak in a bowl and pour about 1/2 cup of teriyaki sauce.  Let sit for a few minutes.  Sprinkle corn starch and mix around to coat the steak with a fork then toss in fresh ginger.

  2. Add oil to a large pan over medium heat.  Add in peppers and onions.  Season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper. Cook for about 7-8 minutes then remove from pan.

  3. Increase pan to high and pour a few tablespoons of soy sauce then add the steak in. Try to make an even layer in the pan.  Cook each side for 2 minutes.  Remove from pan. Add in snap peas and cook for 1 minute over the medium high heat.

  4. Toss the pepper and onions and beef to warm; about 2 minutes.  Serve with Jasmine rice and drizzle extra soy sauce and more "Yaki" before serving.
