Sweet Potato Chips


  • Ingredients for Chips
  • 2 sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon melted organic butter
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Special Equipment
  • Mandolin (for best results but you can slice them thin)
  • Baking sheets (either 2 at once or do in batches)
  • Brush (for coating the potatoes)
  • Ingredients or Avocado Dip
  • 2 ripe Avocados
  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup mild green chilis


  1. Directions for Sweet Potato Chips:

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Either place parchment paper on each baking sheet or lightly grease with butter or melted coconut oil.

  2. Using your mandolin slice your potatoes (or slice with a sharp chefs knife).

  3. Arrange sweet potato slices in a single layer onto baking sheets.

  4. Stir together butter, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl; brush onto sweet potato slices (both sides).

  5. Bake until edges curl upwards, about 20 to 25 minutes.

    NOTE: You can also make my Spicy Avocado dip with these chips!!


  6. Avocado Dip Directions:

    Place all ingredients in food processor and blend on high until smooth.
