Sweet Chili Salmon

This is a perfect Paleo seafood dinner for two. You can ask for 2 pieces of 6 ounce salmon and they will remove the skin gladly for you!  Say hello to Telly for me when you are at City Fish!  This salmon is great hot or cold.

Just double up for 4!

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces (6 oz) salmon, skin removed
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons coconut aminos
  • 1 teaspoon raw local honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  1. Use an indoor grill pan or a cast iron pan for this dish.

  2. Take the salmon and set on a plate then pat dry with a paper towel.  Season with sea salt.

  3. In a small bowl whisk chili sauce, coconut aminos, honey, ginger, garlic, lime juice and red pepper flakes.  Brush over salmon (reserve a little).

  4. Heat your pan over a medium-high temperature. Once the pan is very hot place top side down on the grill pan.  Let cook for 3 minutes. Flip over and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes or until you achieve the doneness you love!

  5. Enjoy over a vegetable filled salad or roasted vegetables.  Enjoy!
