I was at whole foods and at the meat counter the smoked bacon looked so good... I immediately decided to make this quiche. I used Moon Rabbit Pie Dough Mix. My Spinach and Bacon Quiche is a perfect breakfast or any meal...
You can use a quiche pan for this recipe. I do have several but while at a home store over the weekend I found a metal quiche pan with a removable bottom. This was a great way to display my beautiful quiche. (It was only $5.99)
Looking for an easy way to grate your cheese!
I love using my handy Kitchen IQ grater. Make grating cheese so easy!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large mixing bowl combine eggs, half and half, salt, pepper and parsley whisking well.
Prepare you pie crust and fit into your 9 inch quiche pan or pie plate.
First add the spinach and bacon, then pour the egg mixture. Top with the cheese then using a fork combine into the batter.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until the egg mixture is set.
Note: A couple of tips for this quiche! You can use fresh spinach but I always have frozen on hand. If you don't want to make a mess of your stove frying the bacon. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes. You need to preheat the oven anyway so why not bake it... Quiche can be made a day in advance and warmed before serving. If you do use a removable baking dish - place on a sheet pan before placing in the oven. It will prevent a mess in your oven if there is any leakage. Enjoy!!
