Maple Glazed Salmon

I just love salmon and you can't get it any better than at City Fish!  I received my new bistro grill pan and I just LOVE it...   After grilling on my stove top I put under the broiler for just a few minutes and the maple syrup caramelized perfectly.

Give this Paleo recipe a try NOW!

  • Olive oil, for grilling
  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets (6 to 8 ounces each)
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

  1. Grease an indoor grill pan grill grate by brushing with oil. Preheat the grill to medium-high.

Season the salmon all over with salt and pepper then drizzle with olive oil.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the syrup, butter, mustard, and vinegar.

  3. Brush the salmon with the maple glaze and place skin-side up on the grill and cook, about 4 minutes. Flip the salmon and cook until they reach the doneness you like, about 5-6 minutes.

If you want a caramelized top then place under your broiler for 2 minutes.
