Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Place a pizza stone in the oven.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into approximately an 8 to 10-inch round and 1/4-inch thick.
Ladle your sauce onto the dough and spread it over top, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edge. Top with the tomatoes, basil leaves, parmesan cheese and mozzarella rounds.
Remove the pizza stone from the oven (carefully) and dust with the cornmeal. Place the pizza on top of the stone and place the prepared pizza in the oven.
Bake until crust is golden and the cheese has melted, about 12-15 minutes. Slice and enjoy.
Directions for Pizza Sauce:
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper. Add the basil leaves, tomatoes and water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 20 minutes.
Cool the sauce before using it to make pizza.
