These go great with simply made scrambled eggs or if you prefer over easy!
All of the ingredients came from Shop Rite, E. Hartford and I just love my Le Creuset Skillet! I love cooking but most of all I really enjoy feeding people!
In a large oven safe sauté pan over medium heat add in oil. Once hot add in onion and let cook for about 2 minutes then add in garlic for about 30 seconds stirring around with a wooden spoon.
Add in apples and cook for another 2-3 minutes; until they begin to soften.
Remove from pan and place in a large bowl and let cool.
Add in chicken, salt, pepper and sage.
Combine ingredients then form into either very think patties or thicker but smaller patties.
Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
In the same large sauté pan add in another tablespoon of oil and once hot cook the sausage for 3 minutes on each side.
Place the pan in the oven for about 10 minutes while you get the rest of your breakfast ready.
Cindy’s Tip! These freeze really well. Just warm up to enjoy anytime!
