Cashew Milk

While at Shop Rite I picked up a container of raw cashews. I enjoy almond milk and coconut milk in my smoothies, coffee and many recipes. Since I love cashews this seemed like a great idea and I was excited to try this milk.

I did taste it plain but decided to add honey, vanilla, cinnamon or other seasonings to complete this delicious cashew milk. Feel free to enjoy plain or add extra flavor!


  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • Water
  • 1-2 tablespoons raw organic honey
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt


  1. Take a 2 quart container and add in cashews then fill with about 3-4 cups of water. You want to cover the cashews.

  2. Refrigerate overnight

  3. Pour water and cashews into a colander then rinse well.

  4. Add cashews, 2 cups water, vanilla, cinnamon, sea salt in your blender until smooth.

  5. The milk should be smooth but if not then strain through a cheese cloth.
