Best Ribs Ever on the EGG®

Before I begin let me just say for the record. Bone Suckin' Sauce reached out to me and asked if I would test out their products.  We said sure since we love to BBQ on our Big Green Egg.  We have made a few different recipes using their products and we just LOVE their products.  

These ribs are amazing.  Go ahead and get some of their sauce and make some ribs!

What you need!

  • Plate Setter
  • V-Rack
  • Disposable pan (aluminum)
  • Slop Mop for your BBQ sauce



  • Bone Suckin' Sauce Seasoning Rub
  • 2 racks of St. Louis-Sytle Ribs from your local Butcher!
  • Bone Suckin' Sauce BBQ Sauce


  1. Take the ribs and lay on a clean surface.  Pat down both sides with a white paper towel.  Season both sides with Bone Suckin' Sauce Seasoning & Rub.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or better if you can overnight.


  2. Set your  EGG® for indirect cooking with the plate setter legs down.  Preheat to 300 degrees F. 

  3. While  EGG® is heating take out the ribs and let come to room temperature.  (We cut them in 1/2 to easily sit on the v-rack)  To set up place the disposable pan (aluminum pan) on the Plate Setter.  Set in the V-Rack then place each of the ribs.

  4. Let smoke for 3 to 3 1/2 hours (fork tender).  Every 30 minutes mop on Bone Suckin' Sauce.  Keep cover closed while smoking!

  5. Slice with 2 bones for each serving and place on a large board.  Put remaining BBQ sauce on the board for anyone that wants to drizzle any extra.  Enjoy!  xo
