Banana and Sun Butter Mini-Muffins

Jake is my official recipe taste tester and he loves when I make him treats.  Jake is a picky dog (not sure where that came from) and he likes a softer treat.  I made these in my min-muffin tins and share with his friend RJ and cousin Ella!  Happy doggies...   Love them..  xo



  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 3 cups oats
  • 1/4 cup all natural nut butter (I used sun butter)
  • 2 bananas, ripe (about 2 cups)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut, unsweetened


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Bush mini-muffin tins with a little coconut oil.


  2. In a small chopper pulse your oats until almost a flour texture.  Do not over pulse!

  3. In a mixing bowl mash banana then whisk in eggs to combine well.  Add in nut butter and combine then add in oats and coconut.  If the batter seems dry add in a few tablespoons at a time with water.

  4. Use a tablespoon or melon scoop and drop into your muffin tins and bake for 12 minutes.  Enjoy puppy!  xo
