In this episode of everyday to gourmet Cindy makes the Italian classic chicken milanese. She generously seasons the chickens and adds bread crumbs and pecorino cheese. After that she starts the side dish of sautéd kale, swiss chard, spinach with seasoning. The best part is that she uses the same pan for everything to make this dish incredibly convenient. The ending to this great lunch is an Italian lemon cornmeal cake topped with a blueberry compote.

Cindy prepares Lasagna using her Nana’s(Grandmothers) famous recipe — complete with homemade sauce. As an appetizer Cindy makes a fresh simple salad to get the night started off right. She finishes off the evening with a healthy dessert, gluten-free ricotta cake that is equally delicious.
