Turmeric Paleo Yorkshire Pudding

As I continue on my Turmeric journey this recipe has been born.  I was at the store and found Bob Mills Paleo Baking Flour.  It contains Almond Flour, Arrowroot Starch, Organic Coconut Flour, Tapioca Flour so I thought; let's try it!  I just loved this recipe.  I enjoyed with my turkey and lentil meatloaf and of course made some vegetarian gravy!  Yummy..

Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup Paleo Baking Flour (Bob Mills)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Whisk together all ingredients (except butter) and let sit while your oven is preheated.  

  3. One your oven is at temperature add butter to your 8x8 baking dish and place in the oven for 5 minutes.  Remove from oven and pour in batter. 

  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes.  Remove from oven, slice and enjoy with lots of gravy!
