Tumeric Hummus

You will start to see many new recipes using tumeric.  We hope you enjoy them! We certainly loved this tumeric hummus.  Enjoy xo



  • 1 can canned chickpeas, drained
  • 3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1 teaspoon grated tumeric
  • 2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil (plus more)
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 2-3 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced then chopped


  1. Add chickpeas, tahini, tumeric, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper in your food processor.  Blend until smooth.

  2. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.  

  3. When ready to enjoy top with red onion then drizzle a little EVOO.
