I have to give this inspiration to my sister-in-law Patty. She always bring a chocolate brownie pizza to our family events and I decided to create on Paleo and it is double chocolate well actually triple if we are counting the chocolate drizzle. But there is plenty of fruit also on this yummy dessert.
Did you know that Shop Rite has all of your Paleo ingredients and the exact products are much less then Whole Foods! And you can find organic meats, vegetables and fruits. Almond meal which is something I use often is $2 cheaper at Shop Rite and it's the exact same product! Go check them out!
I didn't add nuts but if you desire - go for it! Enjoy this Paleo Dessert!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Take a pizza stone and cover with a piece of parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl add in almond flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and sugar. Stir well with a fork to smooth all dry ingredients.
Add in eggs, almond butter, oil and vanilla. Use a hand mixer and mix until smooth. Fold in mini chocolate chips.
Add batter to the middle of the prepared pizza stone and spread evenly leaving 1/4 inch around the edges. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes then top with fresh fruit.
Take mini chocolate chips and place in a microwave safe bowl then add in palm shortening. Microwave for 30 seconds then stir and again for 20 seconds. Once melted and smooth drizzle over the fruit on the pizza. Slice into wedges and enjoy!
