Hubby and I were on a vacation to Punta Cana celebrating our 7 year anniversary. Our trip was fantastic but we missed our Jake.
Since our return Jake has been our shadow so I decided to make him a doggie treat. After looking in the refrigerator (which is kinda empty right now) I found a few ingredients to make these little treats. Jake doesn't like really crispy cookies (he is a picky eater) so I thought a brownie like texture would be perfect for him.
I took out my NutriBullet and created the batter then poured into a prepared baking sheet for 20 minutes. These were sure easy and Jake is happy!
So if you have a NutriBullet they are not just for smoothies!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a small baking sheet by lining parchment paper.
Peel and core your apple and slice into 1/2 inch pieces. Add to your NutriBullet then add in apple cider, chopped carrot, cinnamon and whole wheat flour.
Connect your NutriBullet and let it go to work for about 2 minutes. Add in oatmeal and reconnect for another 2 minutes until all is smooth. There will be some bigger pieces of oatmeal and I just added them to the top to look pretty!
Pour into your prepared baking sheet and set timer for 20 minutes.
When done use a pizza wheel to cut into cubes. Let cool then let your pup enjoy!
Keep in the refrigerator sealed.
