NutButter Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 16oz container Nutbutter (recommend MeeNutButter)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cup agave
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 ounces dark chocolate, cut into chip sizes
  • Coconut Oil, melted for brushing

Directions

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F

  1. In a large bowl add container of NutButter, cocoa powder, sea salt, baking soda, eggs, agave and vanilla.
  2. Using a hand mixture blend until all ingredients are combined well.
  3. Using a spatula combine dark chocolate chips into the mixture.
  4. Take a 9×13 baking dish and brush with the melted coconut oil. Add mixture to the baking dish and bake for 40 minutes.
  5. Let cool, cut into square and enjoy

  4. Cindy, are these brownies supposed to be a little on the crumbly side? They aren’t gooey like traditional brownies correct? I put them in for the baking length you suggested but I do have a new oven so maybe I didn’t need to bake so long. The edge brownies are kind of crispy. Let me know. Theresa

  5. I made these brownies. Due to Theresa’s comment on them being a bit on the crumby side, I added and extra egg. They turned out perfect in my opinion. Thank You!
