Roasted Chicken
Cindy welcomes an out-of-town guest with a creative take on a classic dish. This simple, roasted chicken recipe is infused with the flavors of fresh lemon, garlic and thyme. Chicken is topped with a home-made, Salsa Verde which adds a spicy kick, tempered with cool mint.

A post-work-out lunch for friends starts with creamy guacamole dip with fresh cilantro and cucumber for dipping. Cindy would make her grandmother proud with her take on an Italian specialty: Braciole. Fresh baby spinach, roasted red peppers and Italian herbs are wrapped in tender flank steak and simmered in Nana’s classic, red sauce. On Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 Cindy appeared on NBC Connecticut’s with weekend morning anchor Shirley Chan for a live cooking segment on gluten-free cooking! Cindy spoke about the benefits of a gluten-free lifestyle, and also prepared her gluten-free Herbs de Provence Chicken Thighs.
On Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 Cindy Anschutz appeared on NBC Connecticut with weekend morning anchor Shirley Chan for a live cooking segment. Cindy shows how easy it is to prepare a variety of Valentine’s Day Crepes (for breakfast or a desert) in her Le Creuset pan, using Bonne Maman preserves and Dreamfarm Chopula.
Jason Hawkins, host of NBC’s Feast, comes to Cindy’s kitchen where they cook stuffed mushrooms, drink tequila and talk about holiday entertaining. And in particular, strategies that you can use as a host to avoid having to sit next to that relative, that every family has, and nobody enjoys sitting next to.

Cindy Anschutz is on NBC’s Taste of Today segment which highlights women entrepreneurs in the Hartford area. In the video Cindy is preparing a family recipe, Chicken Saltimbocca. Cindy also touches on how she got her start as a chef, why she chose to head in that direction, and what steps she took to get herself to where she is now.
Cindy Anschutz visits with Logan Byrnes on FoxCT Morning News to talk about healthy eating through the Paleo diet.
